Yes - during the site design
and build process we will give you a specific URL where you will
be able to view the development of your web pages.
Why do we
need a website?
A website is like a 24 hour shop window where people can find information
about your company products & services, contact you through
email, order goods online. Not having an internet presence could

We are not
looking for E-Commerce - can a brochure site still bring us new business

these to us in electronic format, or the graphics & photography
can be done entirely by Zigzag. Website content will always be different

We need to register our web site with the main search engines
Zigzag Web Design will register
your web site manually with the top search engines. However,
this alone does not GUARANTEE that your site will be found. Find

How will potential
customers find our website?
Your site is now finished and live but your customers need to know
you are out there. Of course you can include your website address
on company literature, business cards and brochures but web site promotion in the search engines is of vital importance to
attracting new business & enhancing your company profile.
Will the search
engines find our site ?
In order for a search engine to know your site is on the Internet
(and for someone searching on that search engine to find you) your site
details must be 'submitted' to that engine. Otherwise your site
will effectively remain "Ex-directory"! The web pages also need to be optimised so that they are search engine friendly.
On completion of your website
we will submit your site MANUALLY to the all important top search
engines. We do not use software to do this as our experience
is that you achieve much better results and higher and consistent
search engine
rankings & placements by 'hand' submissions.

We will recommend a hosting solution
to suit the requirements of your site. Our recommendation depends
on the size of your site in MB and the technologies we use in its
content.
Our company is too busy
to "look after" the website?
We can offer you a package of ongoing website
management and maintenance with regular updates, traffic monitoring,
search engine
resubmission and full support. We are committed to our ongoing
service to you.
Do you
offer a photography service?
Yes. We offer a digital photography
service for website content.
We already have a
domain name but no web space?
If your domain name is not attached
to any web space (or needs to be moved from an existing web host),
this will require us to migrate the name(s) across to the web server.
What is web space?
A domain name without web space is a number plate
without a car. A web hosting
service provides a portion of web space which is electronically
attached to your domain name in order that your site can be placed
on the internet.
Can we find out who
is looking at the site?
A tracking facility can be installed on your site and you will be
able to log into your own account to view your daily statistics.
If you would like us to maintain your website for you, we can monitor
your statistics on your behalf.
Can we
update the site ourselves after its completed?
Zigzag can provide you with a content
management solution suitable for your site and your business requirements.
We would like a FLASH
web site ?
We do not build entire websites in FLASH however we may include
FLASH elements within a website design.
Can we have promotional
video clips on the site?
Yes. We provide a video service
for website video clips. We also offer high quality video
and DVD production. This can be used to promote your business
as an audio visual presentation.
