How do we do this?
We do not provide web hosting ourselves. Instead we will recommend
a web hosting company to you after discussing your specific requirements.
Why don't we provide hosting?
We do what we are good at - Web Design. We believe that hosting
should be done by professionals who have invested in state-of-the-art
facilities, who provide excellent service.
Domain name registration
 If
you require domain name registration we can register your domain
name (in your name) as part of any web design package or as a separate
service.
We recommend that you register your company name before someone
else does. When choosing a domain name you should select either
your company name or something memorable related to your business.
**note**
There are many companies on the internet who offer domain name registration. Many of these companies do not include web space with the name. This can lead to complications later on as you will have to transfer the name to another hosting company in order to post your web site. If you wish to purchase a domain name with the view to building a web site later, please contact us for impartial advice.
Important: when we design your site, your domain names & web hosting accounts are all
registered in YOUR (or your businesses) name. This is a very important
administrative factor which many other web design companies overlook.
We believe that you or your business should be the registered owner
of your domains.
Web design companies who offer web hosting are usually re-sellers
who use the facilities of a dedicated web host. We don't do this.
We believe that you, the client, should have ultimate control over
your web site and for this reason, your web hosting contract is
between you and the host.
Website Hosting - what is it?
When purchasing an internet domain name (e.g. mycompany.co.uk)
you need to attach 'web space' to the name. Your web site is 'hosted'
or stored on this web space and accessed by typing your domain name
into a web browser.
 If
you have already purchased a domain name without web space
then we can set up your web hosting for you and migrate your name
to the new server.
Buying a domain and web space as a package is more straightforward
and we can set up your domain name & website hosting for you.
All website hosting packages come with multiple POP3 Email accounts.
